Watershed Education Kits

Learn about protecting Lake Champlain with two new Library Watershed Education Kits: one for home science investigation (kit 1) and one for field exploration (kit 2). Thanks to a grant from the Lake Champlain Basin Program, FFL teamed up with Lake Champlain Sea Grant  and Vermont Department of Libraries to provide these kits to 25 libraries in the Lake Champlain Watershed. The Watershed Education Kits provide all the supplies you need to conduct the experiments in the accompanying Watershed Education Challenge Booklet. The kits are listed among our STEAM kits below. 

STEAM Kits (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math)

To request a STEAM Kit:

Limit one kit per library card. STEAM Kits circulate for one week.

Take your STEAM explorations home with you! Each kit comes packed in a sturdy bin with a STEAM exploration, paired books, suggested activities as well as additional book recommendations that can be found at the library.
