Artist Statement:
My personal lens since childhood has always been that of an artist interpreting the limitless hues of the rainbow. I am a self-taught artist who has been painting or creating colorful artwork since my earliest memories. I sincerely believe my life’s purpose is to express my highest self through my artistic and colorful lens. I aspire to bring joy through my art and use the healing energy of color for that purpose.
Our own internal system of energy vortices, the Chakra System, has a symbiotic relationship with the colors of the rainbow. Each of the seven Chakras has a coinciding color, so to be in alignment and inner harmony one must freely blend from one color energy to the next. When we identify with all of the colors in the spectrum at once there is a wholeness that occurs at a subconscious (and many times conscious) level. When surrounding ourselves with organic patterns and rainbow colors we feel complete, whole and united. I believe the vibrational energies within the spectrum have profound effects on the mind, body and soul. As we view the many colors of the rainbow we draw on all of the visual frequencies available to our humanness. There is nothing truer than a rainbow.
