Sorrowland by Rivers Solomon

This Black, queer, and disabled survival story plays with monstrousness, body horror, and its fair share of fighting back against oppressive systems. Rivers Solomon's writing is grounded, clear, audacious and unabashed, calling out the haunting elements of our own society, but also reveling in moments of love, joy, and connection both among characters and with the land and nature surrounding them.
