Author Kenneth Cadow: GMBF Keynote
Kenneth M. Cadow is an educator and writer who lives in Pompanoosuc, Vermont. Gather is his first young adult novel. The novel was a finalist for the National Book Award. Gather is the 2024 Vermont Reads selection from Vermont Humanities. We are honored to host him as part of the Festival.
Sing Along with Linda Bassick
Dance, wiggle, and sing with local musician/early educator, Linda Bassick. This program is geared towards babies, toddlers and preschool aged kids, but all ages are welcome!

If you had wings like a hawk, where would you fly? Birds of prey are found all over the world, in all kinds of environments—so why don’t we follow them! Join us on an imagined journey across the United States, and encounter some resident raptors in their ecosystems. We’ll learn about the habitat needs of each species, as well as their range and behavior in the wild. Who knows whoooo we’ll encounter?
