Oral History Writing Workshop with Author Mark Pendergrast

This hour-long class meets weekly and requires participants to interview one or more family members or friends for an oral history of their life story.  Each person will transcribe the recorded interviews and then edit them into a more readable form.  If they wish, participants will be encouraged to submit the final products for publication in an appropriate outlet.

 

Mark Pendergrast is the author of Uncommon Grounds, For God, Country and Coca-Cola, and many other works of nonfiction.  He lives in Burlington with his wife, Betty Molnar.
